… treating other human beings like animals:
At least one of Toronto’s armed bureaucrats describes his job as a “human garbage collector” for the City of Toronto. I guess it’s too much to ask, to expect things like human decency when it comes to dealing with “human garbage”.
Update (afterthought): In the recent Supreme Court of Canada decision that rejected the concept of Miranda rights in Canada, the court suggested one of the main reasons it did not see a need for them in Canada, is that the Canadian context lacked a culture of police intimidation and coercion that was present in the United States when the US Supreme Court originally asserted them.
It would seem perhaps, that the Supreme Court of Canada’s decision may have been ignorant at worst and lacking prescience at best.

“… the court suggested one of the main reasons it did not see a need for them in Canada, is that the Canadian context lacked a culture of police intimidation and coercion …”
lol! But I shouldn’t laugh, it’s more sickening than funny.
I had a good laugh when Shane Matthews back at the Western Standard claimed that Supreme court would protect minority rights , i say good luck
